Trivia proceeds to benefit local institutions

When cold weather arrives in Boonville most residents know that trivia season is right around the corner. To cap off the season, the Boonville Rotary Club will host their Fourth Annual Trivia Night on Saturday, March 8 at the Isle of Capri Casino-Hotel Ballroom. The trivia night kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
Once again, a Dead or Alive contest will be featured along with free gourmet snacks, desserts and soft drinks. A cash bar will also be available.
A silent auction and raffle will start the night followed by trivia at 7 p.m.
According to the Boonville Rotary Club, the club gives every dollar raised by this fund-raiser and more back to the community, via donations or support of local institutions, including local schools, the food pantry and YMCA.
The cost to enter is $150 per team (up to 10 team members, or $15 per person).
The first place team will take home $300, followed by a $200 prize for second place.
The raffle winner takes home half of all proceeds collected and the winner for dead and alive takes home half of the cash in each round as well.
