Summer trial set for Howard
BOONVILLE–Former Pastor Gerald Howard, who has been held at the Cooper County Detention Center for almost four years will meet his ultimate fate during a summer trial before Cooper County Circuit Court Judge, Robert Koffman.
Howard will not face a jury after waiving those rights in December. The trial will be on June 26-27 at the Cooper County Court House.
Howard has been held on three counts of forcible sodomy and three counts of attempted forcible sodomy. These charges stem from accusations from individuals when Howard was a Pastor at Boonville's Saints Peter and Paul Church in the early to mid-1980.
