  • Search warrants result in four New Franklin arrests

  • Four individuals were arrested in New Franklin on Friday on suspicion of drug possession along with evidence suggesting they were also distributing the drugs.
    Howard County Sheriff Mike Neal stated two separate search warrants were executed. The first warrant resulted in the arrest of Melissa and Jerry Malone who reside at 124 Boggs Street. Jerry Malone also had two outstanding felony warrants. Terril and Brandy Jones were also arrested at their residence located at 210 Boyd Drive per the second search warrant.
    According to a release from the Howard County Sheriff's Department, further charges are pending at this time.
    The department along with the New Franklin Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed the search warrants following a month long investigation.
    The four individuals were transported to the Howard County Jail in Fayette.
