    News to know

    An upgraded version of Google Glass will soon be out, and it will allow users to wear the device by using their eyeglasses or sunglasses. It also will use an ear bud instead of a speaker, which reportedly has had problems. Current Glass owners will be allowed to get the upgrade, and those owners are allowed to invite three friends to buy the experimental tech (at $1,500).

    Hot video: Thief fails to steal iPad

    Despite his best efforts, a would-be thief failed to steal an iPad from the Pie Hole Pizza Joint in Chicago after he broke through a window. The tablet was secured to the counter by a cable.
