  • Regina Downs and Steven Burns are still at large after eluding the Boonville Police Department last Thursday.
When a vehicle occupied by three subjects failed to yield to a Boonville Police officer, it attempted to elude the police officer by pulling into a citizen’s driveway.
The officer lost sight of the vehicle but while he was searching the area a citizen called the police department and reported seeing three subjects running into the woods in the area of Jefferson and Roberts Drive.
The Boonville Police arrested Lonnie M. Miller from Bowling Green, KY without incident. The two suspects who escaped were later identified as Downs and Burns.
Miller had a parole violation warrant for his arrest in Kentucky as well as a felony warrant from Bowling Green. He is being held at the Cooper County Detention Center.
The search continues for Downs and Burns. Burns is in his mid 20s and Downs is in her late 20s  and was last seen wearing green pants and a pink shirt.
The Boonville Police Department believe they may be out of the area by now but if these individuals are spotted it is urged an individual call the BPD at 660-882-2727.
