BPD asking for community’s help
Boonville — On Thursday at approximately 4 p.m. a vehicle occupied by three subjects failed to yield to a Boonville Police Officer. The vehicle attempted to elude the police officer and pulled into a citizen’s driveway.
The officer lost sight of the vehicle and while he was searching the area a citizen called the police department and reported seeing three subjects running into the woods in the area of Jefferson and Roberts Drive.
The Boonville Police Department along with the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department set up a perimeter of the wooded area and shortly thereafter a white male named Lonnie M. Miller from Bowling Green, KY. emerged from the woods and was arrested without incident.
Miller had a parole violation warrant for his arrest out of Kentucky as well as a felony warrant from Bowling Green, KY.
Miller was transported to the Cooper County Detention Center where he was incarcerated awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.
An extensive search was done in the woods and outbuildings in the area, but the other two subjects were not located.
The two subjects are still at large and are described as a white male in his mid 20s and a female subject in her late 20s last seen wearing green pants and pink shirt. The female is also described as having dyed red hair.
If anyone notices someone matching the descriptions of the subjects they are urged to call the Boonville Police Department at 660-882-2727
