Trivia and spaghetti to benefit library building fund

Cooper's Oak Winery and the Boonville Daily News Historically Yours columnist Liz Davis are sponsoring an all-you-can-eat Spaghetti Dinner and Trivia Night to benefit the Boonville Library Building Fund at Cooper's Oak Winery on Friday, September 27, at 5 p.m.
According to a release dinner will be served between 5-6:15 p.m. Trivia should start about 6:30 p.m. and last an hour. Reservations are requested as seating will be limited. Tickets will be $20 and will include include salad, spaghettiwith or without meatballs, bread and dessert.
Five dollars of each ticket will go directly to the Library Building Fund. Davis will MC the trivia and Cooper's Oak Winery will provide the prizes.
The $5 will help provide the funds for a new library facility in Boonville. According to, the new library will be 12,000 square feet and will have energy efficient lighting and electrical. The building will be an example of green construction and will offer increased space for public computers, new technologies, including wireless and computer training. In addition, a children’s reading room and area will be included in the design along with meeting rooms for large and small community groups both during and after regular library hours. There will be more space overall for shelves for books and non-books. The new facility will be ADA compliant according to the plans.
