Boonville– — The Fourth Annual Katy Bridge Wine Walk will be held in downtown Boonville on Saturday, September 14, from 5-8 p.m. The Wine Walk has become a fall tradition and is always a great presentation of Missouri wineries and food producers.
This year the walk is featuring the St. James Winery, Windy Wine Company, Serenity Valley Winery, Bushwacker Bend, Peaceful Bend, Baltimore Bend, Wenwood Farm Winery, Les Bourgeois and wines from Cooper's Oak Winery.
Tickets are available in advance at the Hotel Frederick located in downtown Boonville and at the Boonville Tourism Office at the Katy Depot. These advance tickets will be exchanged for the official map and tasting glass on the day of the event.
On Saturday tickets will be sold beginning at 4:30 p.m at Imhoff's Hometown Appliance located at 905 Main Street and at the Hotel Frederick.
Ticket will cost $15 per person, which includes a commemorative 2013 Katy Bridge Wine Walk glass and map. This also includes admission into all venues for the evening. Venues will feature live musical performances throughout the event.
The funds raised will go to the restoration, reconstruction and maintenance of Boonville's Katy Bridge. Through the support of the patrons of the Save the Katy Bridge Wine Walk this event has coalesced into the Katy Bridge Wine Walk as the City of Boonville acquired ownership in January of 2013.
Work on the south side of the MKT (Katy) Bridge is anticipated to begin this spring. Updates can be found at www.katybridgefriends.org.
