County Courthouse to celebrate 100 years

The Cooper County Courthouse is holding a celebration of its 100 year birthday on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. with a picnic on the front lawn at the court house.
The Cooper County Cattlemens Association will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and cake during the event. Cooper County Circuit Judge Robert Koffman will be the key speaker for the event. Former surviving commissioners have been invited to come as honorary guests and speak at the event as well.
Individuals are urged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. In case of rain the celebration will be moved to the third floor courtroom.
