The 1830s single family dwelling known as the Hain House will feature art of Linda Hoffman during the 38th Annual Missouri River Festival of the Arts on August 21-24.
Exhibition hours will be 6-7:15 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and between the hours of 12-7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hoffman's prime medium is water colors, oils and ceramics, which will primarily be featured during the festival.
According to the program, Hoffman began art study 10 years ago. During this time she has studied with artists Frank Stack, Marilynne Bradley, Bill Hawke, John Preus and J.D. King.
Her subject matter ranges from landscapes, interiors, florals and still life compositions. According to the program, Hoffman loves to paint outside even with the ever-changing light.
Hoffman's art is exhibited regularly at the Columbia Art league and the Grafica Gallery in St. Louis.
