Boonville High School registration will be well underway during the first week of August.
Registration will begin for students entering grade 12 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students entering grade 11 will also be able to register on that day as well from 1-4 p.m.
On August 2, grades 10, 11 and 12 will be able to register between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration for freshmen will occur on August 5 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. All grades will be able to register this day as well.
"I hope you have enjoyed your summer and are looking forward to another rewarding year at BHS," Boonville High School Principal, Jeff Brackman stated.
Students will have the ability to change their schedules during registration and pay their $10 activity fee, which helps pay for printing in the media center, use of physical education lockers and locker maintenance. Students currently using a vehicle will also need to register it with the office, pay the $10 fee and receive their designated parking space. It is recommended students put money into their lunch account at this time as well.
Anyone failing to pick up their schedule during registration will need to pick it up on the first day of school in the high school commons.
Pictures will be taken during registration for yearbook and identification. Seniors pictures will be taken at this time as drapes and tuxes will be prepared for them.
Yearbooks may also be purchased during registration and students who purchased a yearbook from the previous school year can pick it up then.
Seniors will be able to talk to representatives about class rings on August 1-2 and various styles of rings will be on display.
On Friday August 2 representatives from Red Wear will be available to provide information on purchasing letter jackets.
Students are urged to be prepared with their supplies on the first day of school, which includes a package of ruled paper, pens, pencils, erasers, graph paper and a recommended calculator.
As like years past P.E. classes will require certain cloths such as a blue T-shirt and grey shorts.
For the first time this year, parents and students will have to sign a written consent for drug testing prior to entering into any extracurricular activity. This form will remain in affect during the whole duration of the school year.
