  • Six individuals receive prison time for drug charges

  • Six of the Individuals arrested on drug charges in an early April drug bust will begin serving their prison sentences after entering guilty pleas in a late June hearing.
    The arrests were made earlier this year following a joint investigation by the M.U.S.T.A.N.G. Drug Task Force and the Boonville Police Department with assistance from the Cooper County Sheriff's Department.  
    The following individuals have received their sentences.
     Thaddeus L. Lewis, 49 of Boonville, entered a guilty plea on two counts of selling a controlled substance. This charge is considered a felony. Lewis will be transferred to the Missouri Department of Corrections to serve a 15 year sentence.
    Mickey Lee Petershagen, 41 of Boonville, entered a guilty plea to one count of selling a controlled substance. While considered a Class B Felony, Petershagen will receive eight years at the Department of Corrections.
    Joseph C. Rainsbarger, 23 of Boonville, entered a guilty plea to two counts of selling a controlled substance, which are both Class B Felonies. Rainsbarger will serve two eight year sentences.
    Brent Franklin Cook, 51 of Boonville, entered a plea of guilty to the charge of one count of selling a controlled substance. This charge is a Class B Felony. Cook received a 10 year sentence.
    Andrew D. Decker, 25 of Boonville, entered a guilty plea to two counts of selling a controlled aubstance, which are Class C Felonies. Decker received seven years on each count in addition to five years of supervised probation.
    Cecilia A. Cole, 35 of Boonville entered a guilty plea to two counts of selling a controlled substance, both Class B Felonies. Cole received seven years in the Department of Corrections for each count.
