Boonville Ready Mix exploded for seven runs in the first inning and never looked back while beating Rt. B Cafe 18-0 in Cal Ripken Minor Friday night at Harley park.
While improving to 11-4 on the season, Boonville Ready Mix also had pitcher Memphis Waibel throw a no-hitter for three innings. Waibel also struck out seven batters and gave up just three walks.
Boonville Ready Mix led Rt. B Cafe 7-0 after one and 10-0 after two before adding eight more runs in the third.
Boonville Ready Mix also out-hit Rt. B Cafe 11-0, with Elijah Carter and Memphis Waibel collecting two singles, one double and one RBI each.H Hayden Krumm added two singles and four RBIs while Dylan Schupp had one triple and three RBIs and Adam Klein and Landon Belstle each with a RBI-single.
In the nightcap, Einspahr Construction improved to 9-3 on the season by turning back A-Bow-K 7-1.
Einspahr Construction led A-Bow-K 1-0 after two and 3-0 after four. Meanwhile, in the fifth, Einspahr Construction outscored A-Bow-K 4-1.
Drew Sanders picked up the win on the mound for Einspahr Construction while Charlie Bronakowski took the loss for A-Bow-K, who dropped to 2-12.
Sanders started the game and pitched 1 1/3 innings and walked three while striking out two. Andrew Wiser then came in and pitched three-plus innings and surrendered one run on four hits and one walk while striking out five. Then, to finish the game, Colten Collyott pitched 2/3 inning and issued one hit and one walk while striking out one.
For A-Bow-K, Bronakowski pitched the first-three innings and struck out six batters while giving up one run on two hits and two walks. Spencer Steakley then came in and pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief and issued six runs on two hits and seven walks while striking out three batters. Then, to finish the game, Hunter Tarr pitched 2/3 inning and gave up one hit.
Darin Williams led the hitting attack in the game for Einspahr Construction with a single and a double. Colten Collyott added two singles while Drew Sanders added one single.
For A-Bow-K, Spencer Steakley went 2-for-3 with two singles while Charlie Bronakowski and Hayden Tarr added one double each and Aiden Battreal with one single.
