Unlimited Opportunities holds annual banquet

Boonville–Unlimited Opportunities held its Annual Banquet Friday night at the Isle of Capri Ballroom. Over 300 staff, clients and family members enjoyed an evening of awards, entertainment, good food, music and dancing.
Special Awards of Appreciation were given to UOI Board President Jeff Martin; First Baptist Church, Holy Ground Christian Tabernacle, and Arch Heim. Client of the Year was awarded to Danny Twenter and Employee of the Year to Lynda Lyles. A fundraiser raffle was held in the weeks prior to the banquet to raise money to help defray the costs associated with the banquet. The raffle prize-an upright freezer and 50 pound meat bundle-was won by Brittany Loesing. Raffle prize sponsors were Pilot Grove Coop, Citizens Community Bank, Prairie Home Coop, Missouri Valley Commission Company, Jennings Premium Meats and Imhoff’s Hometown Appliance.
“We are so fortunate to have the support of so many members of our community. We all look forward to the Banquet every year, and have a great time celebrating with family and friends.  The banquet staff members at the Isle of Capri are so accommodating and friendly and make everyone feel really special. Our BII Day Program did a great job decorating for our ‘50s theme and lots of people dressed to the theme.  We anticipate a busy, exciting year as we look forward to the construction of our new building. We are finalizing decisions and will be scheduling the groundbreaking soon," Unlimited Opportunities Executive Director Jennifer Waibel said.
