Christian motorcyclists minister to inmates

Christian motorcyclists from around the state of Missouri rode to Boonville to participate in the 2013 Day of Ministry at the Boonville Correctional Facility.   The day began at Nelson Memorial Methodist Church as almost 80 participants on 45 motorcycles ate lunch before their departure down Morgan Street. The riders socialized with the inmates while spreading the word of God. Larry Long who helped facilitate the event said the riders stayed at the facility until 4 p.m. before returning to the church for chapel services at 6 p.m.
