Eva Louise (Kirby) Anders, 94, Bucklin, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, June 3, 2013 at Delaney Funeral Home, Bucklin, with Rev. Tim Mitchell officiating. Visitation was held from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the funeral home in Bucklin. Burial was in the New Boston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Anders, Gary Anders Jr., Doug Anders, Angela Leonard Hinnant, Brad Anders, and Brian Anders. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Anders, Jerry Anders, Mary Ramos, Becky Orf, Beth Holland, and Ben Anders.
Memorials to the New Boston Cemetery may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 41 Locust, Bucklin, Mo. 64631.
Eva was born February 22, 1919, in Bucklin, daughter of Arthur and Nancy (Quinn) Kirby. She married Albert Anton Anders of New Boston on March 16, 1937. He preceded her in death.
Eva was a homemaker and had worked at Whitaker Cable for 15 years. She was a member of the New Boston Christian Church and a Bucklin resident all her life.
Survivors include one brother, J.O. Kirby, California; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kirby and Arleta Anders, Eudora, Kan., Gary and Phyllis Anders, Bucklin, and Martin and Cindy Anders, Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
