Never get a blister from sanding again

If you’ve ever developed blisters on your hands from sanding, you’ll appreciate these simple sanding blocks designed by Club member Alan Muir of Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada. Start with a dressed 15-in. length of 2x2 material. Make a 3/4-in.-deep x 9-in.-long cut with a table saw down the length of the block. Next, shape the handle to create a comfortable grip. Then simply wrap sandpaper around the stick, tuck the ends into the slot and sand away. Brought to you by: American Profile
