Parks and Recreation sponsors Dinner Theater

Here are several live performances to attend this week, right in your own backyard.

Saturday, April 13th
Holman Family Distingushed Speaker Series: Mara Liasson, 8 pm Baldwin Hall
Mara Liasson will speak as part of the Holman Family Distinguished Speaker Series. She is a political contributor for FOX News Channel. She joined the FOX network in 1997. She also serves as a political consultant for National Public Radio. She began at NPR in 1985 as a reporter and newscaster. She will be speaking at Baldwin Auditorium on the Truman State University campus.
Fridays and Saturdays, April 12th and 13th and 19th and 20th
Spring Musical Dinner Theater entitled Next thing You Know
Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department will host a dinner theater. The musical will be, Next Thing You Know at Jackson Stables, 22694 Rainbow Basin Trail. Reservations may be made at the Aquatic Center. Call 660-627-1485 for more information.
Thursday, April 18th
Kirksville Community String Orchestra Concert at 7 pm at the Kirksville Arts Center (117 S. Franklin)
The Kirksville Community String Orchestra will present a spring concert performing works of Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, Wieniaski, Stamitz, and Telemann. The performance will be at the Kirksville Arts Center. Admission is free and children of all ages ar welcome.
Thursday, April 17th- April 20th
Truman State University Theater performance of The Big Meal at 8 pm at the James G. Severns Theater
Truman State University Theater Department will present the play, The Big Meal each evening at 8 pm from April 17th -April 20th in the James G. Severns Theater in the Ophelia Parrish Building on the Truman State University campus. For information call 660-785-4515.
