  • The City of Boonville was awarded a grant through the Mid-Missouri Solid Waste District H and approved by Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the purchase of recycling containers on Main Street, the Visitor's Center and in several Parks throughout town.
All these containers will provide comingled recycling for aluminum, glass and plastics (#1 and #2). The Main Street and Visitor Center recycle bins will be similar in design and style to the existing garbage cans already in place on Main Street. The Parks which will be receiving recycle containers include: Lion's Park, Kemper Park, Harley Park and Rolling Hills. The City has partnered with Boonslick Industries to assist with the collection and pick up of the recycling bins.
Thanks to the Mid Missouri Solid Waste District H and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for their assistance with this project. The City also wants to extend our thanks to Boonslick Industries for assisting with the collection. Look for the new recycle bins later this spring and please help us reduce our waste by recycling your aluminum, glass, and plastics.
