Turner Hall transformed into Hotel for 11th Annual Love Notes
It was a full set rehearsal at Turner Hall Monday night for the case of the 11th Annual Love Notes 'Ups and Downs'. Starting at 7 p.m. the introduction musical number got underway after Director Jennifer Davis explained the dance movements.
The production this year is based around a hotel, the Riverfront Inn. The stage is not the only set, the entire Turner Hall has been transformed into the hotel as well.
Mary Burge of Arrow Rock calls Boonville her second home because it is Boonville where she is quite involved.
"It has really been fun. I thought I was a little old to be doing this at 82 but they wanted me to be a part of Love Notes," Burge said.
Burge has been involved in Blackwater and Boonville theater for many years.
Burge will tap dance in the production this year.
This year the production features singing, and a story line based around the hotel in a two hour performance.
Dress rehearsal will be Wednesday.
Love Notes will be performed Friday, February 15 and Saturday, February 16 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 17 at 2 p.m.
