After breaking the Prairie Home boys all-time scoring record two weeks ago against the Russellville Indians, senior Trever Huth decided to take it a step further while inching closer to the all-time scoring record in Prairie Home history.
While surpassing Jon Class, who set the boys previous record with 1,528 points, Huth also broke all-time record with 1,606 points as of Saturday, Jan. 26. Jennifer Alpers held the old mark for points in a career with 1,580 points.
Prairie Home coach Jesse Oswald said Huth is a very hard worked and this is an accomplishment that he deserves.
“He really strives to achieve a lot of things for our team, not just individual accomplishments, but also trying to achieve team success,” Oswald said. “I'm very proud of the way he has worked hard and handled himself throughout achieving this accomplishment."
