Large drug bust occurs on Chestnut and Third streets
Boonville — The Boonville Police Department, along with the M.U.S.T.A.N.G. Drug Task Force, the Cooper County Sheriff's Department, the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Cooper County Prosecuting Attorney's Office executed two search warrants Thursday evening at 315 Chestnut and 923 Third Streets, resulting in multiple arrests.
Both arrests were served after investigations into drug activity in Boonville.
According to Boonville Police Chief Bobby Welliver, Bridget Trimble, 41, Joseph Rainsbarger, 23; Samantha Rainsbarger, 25; George R. Hale, 36; and Arttavis M. Ferrell, 23, were all arrested for marijuana, methamphetamine and other pills, drug paraphernalia and items associated with the sale and distribution of drugs.
All suspects were taken to the Cooper County Detention Center, and charges are pending from the Cooper County Prosecuting Attorney.
By law each of these personnel are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Chief Welliver expressed appreciation for each of the agencies who participated in the investigation and execution of the search warrants.
