Otterville senior Hannah Stone burned the nets for a game-high 27 points as the Lady Eagles defeated Leeton Thursday night in Otterville by a score of 43-16.
The Lady Eagles, 10-5 on the season, led Leeton 29-7 at the half and 41-11 after three quarters of play. Meanwhile, in the final period, Leeton outscored Otterville 5-2.
Courtney Fleming led the scoring attack in the game for Leeton with 10 points.
As for the Otterville boys basketball team, they fell to Leeton in a close game 53-51.
The Eagles, who dropped to 8-6 on the season, trailed Leeton 20-18 a the half and 34-31 after three quarters of play before rallying with a 20-19 advantage in the final period to cut the lead to two.
James Cavender had 20 points and Dylan Swabby 15 for Leeton.
For Otterville, Ryan Benn tossed in 21 points while Devin Rockett chipped in 13.
The Otterville boys and girls basketball teams will play in the CCAA Tournament in Bunceton next week.
