Psychobilly Tattoo and Body Art, a business locally owned and operated by "Big Ed", has raised over $850 by selling paracord bracelets for Unlimited Opportunities Inc.'s (UOI) Special Olympics fund. Big Ed purchased all the materials for the bracelets and he and his staff have been putting them together and selling them during the entire month of September mainly during the Festival of Lights on Thursday evenings. Big Ed said he has been pleasantly surprised by the amount of money raised. When he talked to UOI about doing the fundraiser he figured they might raise $400 dollars but now they have raised over $850. With the success of the fundraising Psychobilly Tattoo and the Boonville Daily News are teaming up to fight cancer in October, the Boonville Daily News will be having a month long Paint the Boonslick Pink Promotion and will be selling and promoting pink and white paracord bracelets with the help of the Psychobilly staff.
