BOONVILLE — The Boonville City Council, City Staff, and Septagon Construction will host an open house on Tuesday, September 18th from 4-6 p.m.; everyone is invited to tour the new space during this time. The open house culminates with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m.; we look forward to welcoming the community to thenew City Hall.
During the open house, visitors will be treated to tours, finger foods, an opportunity to view the Bingham paintings on loan from Charlie Leonard and his family, bank memorabilia, and historic pictures of Boonville. The City wishes to thank Septagon Construction for sponsoring the Open House; as well as everyone who was involved in creating and finishing the new City Hall space.
The City was gifted the UMB Building at 401 Main Street, from the Kemper Family in 2009. His generous gift enabled the City to reuse a historic building in Boonville's downtown and create a beautiful "home" for the City. We are indebted to the Kemper family's continued support of Boonville by giving us this great building.
