Don Vroman died as a result of a truck accident August 29, 2012 near Armstrong, MO. He was 63 years of age.
Donald Eugene Vroman was born November 7, 1948 at Lee Hospital in Fayette to J. D. and Darline Emma (Potthast) Vroman. He graduated from the last class at Armstrong High School in 1966 and after high school received an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics. Don served in the United States Army in 1968 and 1969. He worked for the Missouri Highway Dept. for 30 years retiring in 2000. Don married Helen Allison April 19, 1974 at Sharon Bible Church. Don was a member of the New Franklin Bible Baptist Church and had a great love for the Lord. He also enjoyed farming and trucking and loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife Helen of the home, three sons, Donald G. Vroman of Armstrong, Eric (Alisa) Vroman of Rocheport and Christopher Vroman and fiancée, Amber Frink of Higbee and brother, Mike (Marilyn) Vroman of Armstrong. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Randall Vroman.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Pastor Rodney Haggett officiating. Burial was held in the Sharon Cemetery near Armstrong.
Memorials are suggested to Bible Baptist Church or Sharon Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
