Board of Education to meet July 18

Boonville's R-I Board of Education will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18. Unfinished business for the board will include a final approval of the 2011-12 fiscal year budget.

New business includes setting a date and time for a tax levy hearing, the adoption of the Missouri School Board Association resolution and the approval of a waste removal bid.

Superintendent, Dr. Mark Ficken, will present his report to the board as well. The Daily News will have a full write-up of the meeting in next week's Thursday edition.
