Passion Video robbed Wednesday night

Cooper County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the scene of an armed robbery on Wednesday night at approximately 10:24 p.m. Passions Video, Inc., located adjacent to the I-70 and Route B interchange on Old Five Drive, placed the call.

According to the Sheriff's Department, a single suspect demanded money from the attendant on duty after entering the business. A semi-automatic handgun was used and the suspect was no longer on the premises upon the arrival of law enforcement.

"The individual suspect we believe to be a black male – height-wise, probably 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6," said Cooper County Sheriff Jerry Wolfe.

The suspect made away with a small amount of cash. The attendant was uninjured.

Cooper County Deputies are continuing their investigation.
