  • Boonville 13, 14 and 15-year-old All-Stars announced for upcoming tournaments

  • Although the post-season won’t officially start until the weekend of July 20-21, the Boonville 13, 14 and 15-year-old All-Stars were officially announced last Friday in-between games in Junior Babe Ruth at Twillman Field in Harley park.

  • Although the post-season won’t officially start until the weekend of July 20-21, the Boonville 13, 14 and 15-year-old All-Stars were officially announced last Friday in-between games in Junior Babe Ruth at Twillman Field in Harley park.
    Boonville Babe Ruth Commissioner Mel Linhart said the 13 and 14-year-olds will bypass districts this year and will automatically move on to the state tournament. The Babe Ruth 13-year-old State Tournament will begin on Thursday, July 19 in Maryland Heights, while the 14-year-old State Tournament will start one week later in Farmington on July 26. As for the 15-year-olds, Linhart said its still up in the air as to whether they will have a district tournament or just move on to state. If the 15-year-olds have a district tournament, they will begin play on Friday, July 20 in Boonville. If they bypass districts, they will play the state tournament in Boonville as well on Friday, July 27.
    Members of the Boonville 13-year-old All-Stars, which will be managed by Mark Waibel and coached by Jake Kopine and Jimmy Gholson, are Tavious Brazil, Morgan Browning, Brett Dillender, Brantley Edwards, Andrew Garrison, Lucas Gerke, Brady Gholson, Wyatt Grizzle, Braydon Johnson, Tommy Kopine, Riley Lang, Justin Masterson, Ryan Sprigg, Makiah Waibel and Brady Yates.
    Heading the Boonville 14-year-old All-Stars, which will be managed by Scott Gamel and coached by David Wright and Jay Reese, are Dalton Bealmer, Arliss Caldwell, Jake Esser, Evan Franklin, Bryce Fuemmeler, Garrett Gamel, Jonathan Gerke, Isaac Lorenz, Regan Meisenheimer, Conner Pond, Jady Reese, Jacob Twenter, Eric VanderLinden, Dalton Vaughn and Alex Wright.
    Players selected to the Boonville 15-year-old All-Stars, which will be managed by Zach Hulbert and coached by Kevin Oser and Kyle Day, are Quincy Banuet, Keaton Barnes, Jordan Copeland, Austin Day, Austin Henderson, Layne Hoff, Austin Hulbert, Kenan Johnson, Josh Judd, Clayton Lang, Ethan Sander, Neil Sanders, Alex Twenter, Alec Viertel and Keaton Vollrath.
