Ernest M. ‘E.M.’ Anderson Jr., 90, of Boonville, passed away, unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 6th, 2012.
Visitation for Mr. Anderson will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, evening, July 12th, from 6:00 until 8:00 o’clock with a Masonic service included. Funeral services will be held at Davis Chapel on Friday morning, July 13th, at 10:00 o’clock with Pastor George Rentschler officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Ernest M. Anderson Jr. was born in La Junta, CO, the son of Ernest Mudd Anderson Sr. and Laura Graves Anderson. Mr. Anderson enlisted into the Army Air Corps before he graduated from high school and served his country for four years. E.M. was married to the love of his life, Bernice, Oct. 14th, 1945 . He was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church and of the Masons. Mr. Anderson was a farmer; however his sense of humor and love of people led him to work with McGraw Edison and Company for twenty years.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, in 2007. He is survived by his sons, Ron Anderson Sr. and (Donna) of Boonville and Richard Anderson (Melva) of California, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ronnie Anderson Jr. (Stormy) of Boonville, Kevin Anderson (Naomi) of Morton, IL, Michael Anderson (Mindy) of Boonville, Arnie Santos (Paula) of Boonville, Angel Kirchner of Jeff City, MO Crystal Williams (Brandon)of Dixon, MO, Alicia Anderson and Brandon Anderson of California. His fourteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson, Hayden, also survive.
