• Rapp, Shadwick and Skelton scramble to first in Heritage Days Tournament

  • The team of John Skelton, Jacob Rapp and Randy Shadwick shot a 18 under par 53 to capture first in the annual Heritage Days Scramble Tournament Friday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville.


    The trio finished the tournament with scores of 25-28 to capture first.


    The team of Scott Lillevoln and Riley, Schlotzhauer, Menees and Rapp and Reagan, Reagan and Riehn all tied for third with a 14-under par 57. Reagan, Reagan and Riehn had scores of 26-31 while Schlotzhauer, Menees and Rapp finished the tournament with scores of 28-29. As for the team of Scott Lillevoln and Riley, they shot a 29 on the front nine and a 28 on the back nine.


    Five teams tied for first in A-flight with a 7-under par 64.


    Tying for first in A-flight were the teams of Karrick, Hein and Dennison; Davis, Windsor and Richey; Einspahr, Quinlan and Ditto; Bard, Hamilton and Hanselman; and Thompson, Williams and James.


    B-flight also had a four-way tie for first with a 4-under par 67.


    Teams tying for first were Dodson, Ivy and Dilse; Watring, Davis and Shannon; Wright, Wright and Cumbie; and Schuster, Schuster and Thomas.
