  • The team of Jacob Rapp, John Skelton and Blake Groves shot a 16-under par 55 to capture first in the Gene Reagan Scholarship Tournament Saturday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville.

  • The team of Jacob Rapp, John Skelton and Blake Groves shot a 16-under par 55 to capture first in the Gene Reagan Scholarship Tournament Saturday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville.


    The trio finished the tournament with a 28-27 to finish 16 under.


    The team of Spaulding, Spaulding and Spaulding finished two strokes back with a 14-under par 57 while the team of Reagan, Reagan and Riehn and Hittner, Hittner and Hittner tied for third with a 13-under par 58.


    Four teams, meanwhile, tied for first in A-flight with a 7-under par 64.


    Tying for first were the teams of Ditto, Quinlan and Einspahr; Scott, Riley  and Lilleboid; Smith, Taylor and Holsinger and Solomon, Brownfield and Dodson.


    Meanwhile, in C-flight with a 4-under par 67 tied for first were the teams of Page, Harris and Fisher, Karrick, Hein and Dennison and Mullens, Burks and Keith.


    A total of 28 teams took part in the tournament.


    Tournament director Terry Davis said the silent auction raised approximately $1,500. “I thought it was a good turnout,”?stated Davis.


    Note: The Ss. Peter & Paul Tournament will be held on Friday, June 29 at Hail Ridge Golf Course starting at 1:30 p.m.
