Storm causes extensive damage, at least four deaths

Neosho, Mo. -
A thunderstorm rolled through Newton County at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday, causing extensive damage. At least four deaths have been reported.
According to reports, the most significant damage was on Iris and Ibex Road near Highway 71, on Highway 43 near Seneca and in the Newtonia and Granby and Diamond areas.
Neosho Daily News reporters have been on the scenes since 6 p.m., however power has not been restored at the Daily News by 9:30 p.m.
