- The Boonville Pirates football team picked up its first win of the 2012 season Friday night on the road by beating the Knob Noster Panthers 35-13. The Pirates, 1-3 overall, led Knob Noster 7-0 at the half and then outscored the Panthers 28-13 in the second half. Boonville senior Bailey Pfeiffer also became the first female athlete to play for the Pirates football team. Pfeiffer was 5 for 5 on extra point attempts.
